Born in 1968 in Zharok, Namche Bazar (3600m.), Solukhumbu District of Nepal, Ms. Buddhi Maya Sherpa can fluently speak Austrian/Deutsche, and of course the Sherpa language. She lives 6 months in Austria and 6 months in Kathmandu Nepal each year for marketing purposes. She is an expert in skiying and also leads groups each season for peak climbing, expedition and normal trekking.

She is also the Managing Director for TREKKING IN NEPAL (P) LTD., whose head office is situated in Kathmandu and have sales contact addresses in Kapfenberg, Austria, too.
