Pokhara is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the fishtailed summit of Machhapuchhre [6,977m] rising behind it create an ambiance of peace and magic. At an elevation lower than Kathmandu, it has a much more tropical feel to it, a fact well appreciated by the beautiful diversity of flowers which prosper in its environs. Indeed, the valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, emerald lakes, and of course, the world famous views of the Himalaya. Clearly the most the most stunning of Pokhara's sights in the spectacular panorama of the Annapurna range, which forms its backdrop.

Day 04 : BIRETHATI (1563m.)
Drive for Nayapul at the late afternoon around 2/3 pm. and overnight at Berithani from where trek will begin Nayapul - The road zigzags up to a few teashops on the ridge at Khare and then winds down past the British agricultural project at Lumle where they record one of thee highest amounts of rainfall in the world. The road shakes its way into the Modi Khola valley, reaching Naya Pul, a small collection of roadside shacks, just beyond km 42, where you can leave the road, drop down the embankment to the trail and start walking. If you want to avoid the long climb over the Ghorepani hill, stay on the bus and go on to the end of the road at Baglung. From there you can reach Tatopani in two days of fairly level walking.

Birethati - To get to Berithani, go behind a ridge and walk about 20 minutes on a level trail to the steel bridge. On the opposite bank of the Modi Kholla is Birethatni, elevation 1065m, a large and prosperous town with a winding street paved with large stones. A trail up the Modi khola to Ghandruk being at Birethani, starting alongside the river and then heading uphill on a rocky trail that leaves the riverbank just beyond a small shrine.

Day 05 : GHANDRUK VILLAGE
Trek start for Ghandruk take 5 - 6 hours overnight at the tea house or lodge

Ghandruk -The shortest trek, this offers good mountain views, forest, birds and glimpses of traditional village life. Follow the Annapurna Sanctuary description to Landruk, and then drop on a stone staircase to the Modi Khola at 1310m. It's a long climb up a rough stone staircase-with high steps-to the tiny settlement of Yamule. There is a teashop here, and there are a few more as you climb to Ghandruk at 1970mDay - 7 Trek to Tadapani [2071m. all the way of jungle], overnight

Day 06 : TADAPANI (2071m.)

Day 07 : GHOREPANI (2855m.)
Trek continue Ghorepani [rest and vies to Poon Hill and round Annapurna mountain range] next early in the morning go for this hill if the weather permits there will be lovely scenes It is worth staying at the pass to see the spectacular panorama of Daulagiri 1, Tukuche, Nilgiri,

Annapurna 1, Annapurna South, Hiunchali and Tarke Kang [formerly known as glacier Dome]. An early-morning excursion to Poonhill [3201m], about an hour's climb, provides an even better, unobstructed view of the high Himalayan.

Day 08 : GHOREPANI REST (2855m.)
Ghorepani is about an hour past Nangathanti, at 2775m. There are several hotels in Ghorepani. Ghorepani means " horse water" mules and ponies that carry loads between Pokhara and Jomsom. The exotic horse caravans, with melodious bells that lead horses, are reminiscent of ancient Tibet. Herded by Tibetan men, who shout up and down the trail, they lend a unique touch to the Jomsom trek. The ponies also grind the trail into dust and slippery mud with their tiny, sharp hooves and careen downhill, frightening trekkers into jumping into the bushes, but the colorful photographic possibilities and the harmonious tinkle of bells almost make it worth the trouble.

Day 09 : TIKHEDHUNGA
Trek descends down to Tikhedhunga-Birethati [1563m] Pokhara overnight Tikhedhunga - About 15 minutes [and 30m in elevation] above Hille. There is a large campsite just beyond Tikedungha near two suspension bridges.
