date of tour for Tibet and Bhutan and 15 days prior for Nepal.
TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01: -KATHMANDU
Arrive Katmandu meet at the airport and transfer to hotel welcome
drink, check in, fixed the room and luggage. Completely free day rest
or short walking. (Service starts)
Day 02: KATHMANDU
Kathmandu sight seeing for Hindu temple: Pashupatinath, Buddhist shrine
Swayambhu Stupa.
Day 03: KATHMANDU
Free day for your own your shopping and personal interest.
DAY 04 FLY KATHMANDU TO LHASA
An hour flight over the Himalayas takes you to Gongar airport. Meet
assistance upon arrival and drive (100 kms/2hrs) to Lhasa (3658m).
Remaining day at leisure. Overnight in Snowland hotel or Airway hotel.
Usually the flight schedule is each Tuesday and Saturday. But in peak
season they also scheduled the additional flight days as Thursday.
SNOWLAND HOTEL.
DAY 05: LHASA
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day tour of Sera and Drepung monastery
and Potala palace. Overnight at the same hotel or airway hotel. The
English-speaking guide means they will be local Tibetan. However,
the group should not expect the as Standard English of local tour
guide of Nepal. SNOWLAND HOTEL.
DAY 06 LHASA
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day tour of the Jokhang temple and Barkhor
Market Square. Overnight at the hotel. The sightseeing will be very
interesting around these places. SNOWLAND HOTEL.
DAY 07 LHASA-GYANTSE
Breakfast in the hotel. Drive (261kms/8 hours via Khamba la (4794m.)
and Kara la (5010m.) passes and lake Yamdrok to reach Gyantse (4040m.)
Overnight at hotel Gyantse. GYANTSE HOTEL.
DAY 08: GYANTSE-ZIGATSE
Breakfast in the hotel. Visit Phapkor Monastery and Kumbum stupa.
Drive (90km.s/4hrs) to reach Xigatse (3836m.). Visit Tashi lumpho
monastery. Overnight hotel Xigatse. XIGATSE HOTEL.
DAY 09: XIGATSE-XEGAR:
Breakfast in the hotel. Drive (244km./8hrs) the Tsuo La (4500m.) Overnight
at the hotel XEGAR HOTEL.
DAY 10: XEGAR-ZHANGMU
Breakfast in the hotel. Drive (244kms/8hrs) via Lalung La pass (5050m.)
and Nyalam (3800) to reach Zhangmu (4342m) Overnight in HOTEL GANJIAN
OR GUEST HOUSE.
DAY 11: ZHANGMU-KODARI-KATHMANDU
Breakfast in the hotel. After Chinese Immigration formalities, drive
down (9kms/45 minutes) to the Kodari Friendship Bridge. After completion
of Nepalese Immigration formalities, drive back to Kathmandu (114kms/5hrs))
Day 12 KATHMANDU
More city sightseeing, and free day for shopping
Day 13 Arrive to HOME
Depart to your home drop upto the airport assistance for check in
clearance. (END OF THE SERVICE)
