Singapore's three major racial groups-the Chinese, Malays and Indians-have over the years developed little pockets of architecture, customs and colorful festivals that best express their proud heritage. Chinatown's history dates back to 1819, when Sir Stamford Raffles founded Singapore. The Chinese, who Raffles anticipated would compose the single largest group, were given the entire area southwest of the Singaporeriver. The Hokkiens concerntrated their trading efforts along Telok Ayer Street, China Street and Chulia Street. The Teochews continued their farmer-fishermen tradition, occupying Circular Road and South Bridge Road.
Little India in Singapore
Immigrants from Madras, Calcutta and Malay joined them soon after. Little India stretches from Rochor Canal to Lavendar Street. While early Indians resided in Chulia Street near Chinatwon, most of them restettled to the present little India gbecaujse of the introdction of cattle reating on the fertile land of Rochor River. Today, little India is the emotional and commercial centre of the local Indian community. The bet rtime to visit little India is erly moring when you can enjoy the spicy aromas, the colorful traditions.

Day 02 KUL/Genting Highland Full Day Tour
Breakfast in the hotel. Pick-up 0845hrs at hotel lobby for your day tour to Genting Highland. A relaxing 90-minute drive through dense tropical vegetation brings us to the summit. This includes a short stop at the fascinating Chin Swee Caves Temple. Upon reaching the Highlands, visit the casino and join in the excitement. There's blackjack, Keno, Roulette, French Bull, Tai Sai, Baccarat and jackpot machines. Also within the same complex are an amusement centre, a 16-lane bowling alley, theatre and massage parlous. For a bird's eye view of the mountain, take a ride on the cable car. Outside the casino complex, the atmosphere is totally different. Designed for family fun, a beautifully landscaped lake takes centre stage. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride around the lake or take kids on a mini-train ride. Have fun on the antique and bumper cars. Full Day Paradise, Batam Island Tour {Indonesia : Upon arrival by high-speed ferry at Sekupang Terminal. Day 04: Breakfast at Hotel Coffee House Half Day morning Tour to "Jurong Bird Park" Take the PANORAIL RIDE for a panoramic view of the park and to the WORLD'S LARGEST WALK-IN AVAIRY. The famed BIRD SHOW, the very first of its kind in this region and boasts the widest variety of performing birds in a single show, is an entertaining and educational show for visitors of all ages.
