TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: SATURDAY/LAX-BBK
Arrive to Bangkok, Thailand. If she needs hotel for a night or hotel/airport transfer, our partner agent will assist her. Also can be arranged a short sightseeing tour arrangement for her. (SERVICE BEGINS)

Day 2:MONDAY/BKK-KATHMANDU
Arrival Kathmandu, meet greet at the airport, transfer to hotel. Briefing, welcome drink, check in, free day.

Day 3:TUESDAY/KATHMANDU
Wake up early morning and breakfast starts at 7 am to 9 am. Half day sightseeing begins at 9 am for Pashupatinath (Hindu Temple), Swayambhunath (Buddhist Stupa), or Boudhanath, Durbar Square, (Ancient Cities of Kathmandu Valley). Back to hotel for lunch after lunch disposal for individual shopping or marketing at bazaar area.

Day 4:WEDNESDAY/KATHMANDU
Nagarkot overnight

7NIGHTS/8DAYS CENTRAL BHUTAN FESTIVAL/CULTURAL TOUR

DAY 5:THURSDAY/ARRIVAL PARO/THIMPHU
Upon arrival at Paro Airport, you will be received by our representative and drive one and half hours through the terraced fields along the banks of the Paro Chu (Chu means river) down stream to its confluence with Wangchu, then up-valley to Thimphu. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 6:FRIDAY/THIMPHU-SIGHTSEEING
Full day sightseeing of National Library, Arts and Crafts School, Nunnery Monastery, ungshi paper factory, Tashichho Dzong, handicraft shops and towards evening stroll in the town. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 7:SATURDAY/THIMPHU - GANGTEY
Early breakfast and drive to Gangtey with a pause at Dochula pass (10,000ft) and continue drive through the forest of magnolia and rhododendrons to Punakha for lunch. After lunch visit Punakha Dzong and continue drive to Gangtey. Overnight in lodge.

DAY 8:SUNDAY/GANGTEY - BUMTHANG
Morning visit Gangtey Monastery, and drive to Bumthang with a pause at Tongsa for lunch. During this journey one can have a good view of high Himalayan ranges from Pelela pass (3300m) with a drive through the dense forest of Magnolia & rhododendron trees. Overnight in lodge.

DAY 9:MONDAY/BUMTHANG - SIGHTSEEING
Today you will be sightseeing in and around Bumthang. Morning visit Jampa Lhakhang built in the 7th century, by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. One of the 108 temples built by him throughout Tibet and the Himalayas to overcome a demon giantess. Further up visit Kurje Lhakhang (Ku means "body", Je means"imprint"). It is one of the most sacred in Bhutan as Guru Rinpoche meditated here and left the imprint of his body on a rock. Afternoon visit Tamshing Lhakhang, which is famous for its old paintings inside and then Kencho Sum Lhakhang, famous for its broken bell. Back to hotel and take rest. A full day sightseeing in Bumthang valley with a visit to Jampa Lhakhang, Kurje Lhakhang, Tamshing Monastery, Konchosum Lhakhang and Lamae Gompa. Late afternoon stroll around Bumthang town and visit Swiss cheese factory. Overnight in tourist lodge.

DAY 10:TUESDAY/BUMTHANG - THIMPHU
Today the drive to Thimphu takes about 7-8hrs with the certain stops on the way for photographs. Stop at Chendibji Chorten to have picnic lunch. Continue drive to Thimphu. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 11:WEDNESDAY/THIMPHU - PARO
In the morning drive to Paro to visit to Drugyel Dzong the ruined fortress which was once defended the valley from Tibetan invasion. One can get a view of Mount Jhomolhari on the clear day (24,000ft) from here. On the way back visit Satsam Chorten monastery. Afternoon drive to visit National Museum and Rinpung Dzong. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 12:THURSDAY/PARO - KATHMANDU
Early morning transfer to Paro Airport for your onward departure flight.
The above cost includes transfers in Toyota cars and Buses; sightseeing as per the itinerary, hotel accommodation on twin sharing basis, meals (optional) and English speaking guide.

DAY 13:RIDDAY/KATHMANDU-CHITWAN JUNGLE SAFARI
Wake up early have breakfast 6:30 a.m. and drive start 7:30 a.m. for Chitwan. By car to reach Chitwan it takes 5 hours from Kathmandu the Nagarkot is already 32 k.m. more far from Ktm and by bus sometime it will be little late than the car. However, we have to guess that we should arrive in Chitwan by 1-1:30 p.m. because the lunch will be ready over there.

DAY 14:SATURDAY/CHITWAN-JUNGLE SAFARI
Received and welcome briefing by the lodge manager 1:00 p.m. lunch,
3:30 p.m. Elephant ride/nature walk/visit to observation tower, 6:30 p.m.

DAY 15:SUNDAY/CHITWAN-POKHARA
after breakfast, go for some sightseeing around old city and around village for half day and back to hotel for lunch. After lunch, drive to Pokhara.

DAY 16:MONDAY/POKHARA-KATHMANDU
After breakfast ready drive back to Ktm in 7 a.m. (option fly back to Kathmandu around 10 a.m. for this, one hour before have to be airport according to the domestic airlines rules. The flying hour takes 30-35 minutes to arrive in Kathmandu.) Lunch at hotel and leave them free for their personal shopping in Kathmandu.

DAY 19:THURSDAY/XEGAR – XIGATSE (3900M) – 244 KMS.
Drive (Approx. 8 hrs) to Xigatse. Xigatse has the famous Tashilunpo Moanstery and the seat
of Panchen Lama. O/nt at Hotel Xigatse.

DAY 20:FRIDAY/XIGATSE - GYANTSE (3900M)-90 KMS.
In the morning visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the free market of Xigatse. In the afternoon
drive to Gyantse and visit Phalkor Monastery and Khumbum Stupa. O/nt. at Hotel Gyantse.

DAY 21:SATURDAY/GYANTSE – LHASA (3650M)- 259 KMS.
The drive to Lhasa takes 08 hours. crossing two passes – THE KATO LA (5010 M.) AND
KAMBA LA (4794M. via Yamdrok Tso lake. O/nt in Lhasa.

DAY 22 & 23:SUNDAY & FRIDAY/ LHASA:
Sightseeing tour of Potala Palace, Norbulinka palace, Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery,
Sera Monastery and Barkhor Bazaar.

DAY 24:MONDAY/LHASA-KATHMANDU
Transfer to Gonggar airport for your onward flight to Kathmandu.
