BOOKINGS & VISA
At least 2 weeks prior to your tour, a booking with full passport details (including occupation), home address and full payment should reach us. To obtain Tibet/China visa we need at least 5 full working days during which time you should be available in Kathmandu.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be a cancellation charge of 50% for confirmed bookings upto 7 days prior to departure to Tibet. No refund will be given for less than 7 days notice. Also, no refund will be provided for no-shows and delayed arrivals for any reason.

TOUR OPERATION
All tours are guaranteed for departure if the minimum number of persons mentioned in the program are available and based on Seat-in-a-coach. However, tour operations are subject to road conditions and flights.

HEALTH & ALTITUDE PROBLEM
Travelling in Tibet involves high altitude and can be strenuous. Persons with heart and lungs problems or blood diseases should consult their doctor before booking the trip. Very rare cases of altitude sickness have been reported. Simple headache, fever, loss of appetite or stomach disorder can happen before acclimatization. Advice: Drink 3 liters of water in average per day. Do not strain yourself, move slow. Breath deep. Take rest more than usual.

CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES
Between November and April warm clothings and between May to October light clothings are required. However, a jacket and warm pullover are always necessary. The recommended items are: Sleeping bag, shirts, comfortable walking shoes, long johns, trousers and skirts, sweaters, jackets, dust mask, socks, sun hat, sun glasses, sun tan lotion, utility knife, water bottle/thermos (1 ltr) flashlight. Water purification tabs, medicine for headaches, fever, colds, stomach disorders etc., toilet paper and tissue papers.

Pacific Travel & Tours (P) Ltd. makes every effort for your smooth and pleasant journey. However, all Tibet-China programs are conducted strictly by Tibet Tourism Authority/Chinese tour operator. Hence Tibet Tours, Treks & Expeditions or its agents are not responsible for any change or alternation of programes and sightseeing points beyond its control or because of road conditions, flood, landslide, snow, unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrival of clients, sickness or accidents. Any extra cost caused thereof should be borne by the clients personally on the spot. We do not take responsibility for changes in the printed programmes and its duration, types of vehicles used, personal belongings, luggage, and change of hotels/guest houses. Cost does not include any insurance for accident, injuries, sickness, evacuation (in case of need) and trip cancellation. The clients travel in Tibet all the time on their own risk. It is highly recommended that you buy insurance covering such incidents in your home-country.

A separate more declaration form has to be signed by the clients accepting above conditions at the time of booking.
